Biotech device that captures and destroys air pollution, i.e. both chemical and biological airborne contaminants
The Pure Air Zone project aims to create bubbles of clean air around the world to protect people's health while fighting climate change.
This project is enabled by a biotech device (a bioreactor) that captures and destroys air pollution, i.e. both chemical and biological airborne contaminants.
Pure Air Zone has already been awarded the Solar Impulse Efficient Solution label and, during the pandemics, it has proven in Milan hospitals that is possible to:
1. capture the virus
2. destroy it
3. warn authorities in time to prevent further contagion by biometering the presence of coronaviruses inside the bioreactor.
People can find Pure Air Zones' locations via an app to choose for instance, which restaurants to go to, based also on the air quality.
